Barack Obama vs. John McCain
Nobody in the news media made mention of Barack’s social view. In his victory speech, he said we are going to force oil companies to invest their profits the way he wants it invested. This is the second democrat in the last two weeks that spurred socialistic nationalization of private business. You start with the oil companies, where do you end? Government already restricts business on every angle with rules and regulations. I don’t understand why it is so hard for Republicans to make their points. Therefore I’m going to try.
1) We are in a war in a foreign country fighting radical Islam so we don’t have to fight them on our ground. The reason it works in Iraq is that for so many years Iraq was their golden goose. President Bush said shortly after 9/11 that we are going after their sponsors. It was the right decision whether they had weapons of mass destruction or not. Every radical flocked there to defend their golden goose. That is why the resistance escalated and we have to see it through to be sure that the people of Iraq get the feeling of participating in a capitalistic system and they get the benefit of their economic strength in the world, and not the terror groups as in the past.
2) We can be environmentally conscience and change the rules and regulations of exploring our own natural resources, building nuclear facilities, and using coal power, and allowing companies to build refineries wherever the natural resources are and where the gas and diesel fuel is needed.
3) Healthcare is the main desire of everyone that is sick. While you are well, it is not a concern. I believe our healthcare system is the best in the world and the quality of services is more transparent than anybody ever expected. And it’s choice of provider should be the patients in a full free market system. Lawsuits and medical liability create an exponential increase in medical care costs. And it is time for every patient to take responsibility for his/her health and his/her choice of provider and not hold liable the whole medical system. In 95% of the cases, there is no need to run a full battery of expensive procedures if the doctor is not concerned about getting sued. One of the facts of life is that everyone will not live to be 100 years old and some of us don’t want to be blessed with quantity of life and no quality. All people will die and we all hope to die at a ripe age. But to burden a whole system with insurance premiums and rules and regulations that makes it impossible to afford basic proven healthcare. It is a proven fact that people with unlimited healthcare abuse their medical privileges because they don’t have to pay for it. It is a proven fact that a lot of illness and expensive care can be prevented by preventative screenings. And that a very small portion of the population takes advantage of preventative screenings. So should something be done? Yes, government restrictions and frivolous lawsuits should be eliminated and individuals should take responsibility for their own health and their own choices of providers.
4) The Economy. We are in a global economy and we have to be competitive globally. But if you tie our hands and our arms behind our backs with rules and regulations and mandates we can never be competitive. The government just has to get out of the way and let the American people use their initiative and hard work and be competitive again. Clean air and clean water is a privilege and right that we always had and that we should protect. But some of the state’s rules and regulations go far beyond what we’ve been used to in the last 100 years. We should strive to always improve, but the regulations of replacing functional infrastructure and systems are ludicrous and not affordable. Set us free and you will see an America you’ve never seen. Bigger, better, cleaner living, longer lives, and taking care of those that can’t take care of themselves. Big government has not helped anyone, just hampered us.

You Cannot Solve Money Problems with Money
It every day amazes me how the caretakers in government want to take care of every problem by throwing money at it. Not considering where the money comes from and what problems that depletion creates. I thank God for free speech because I think 99 percent of our elected leaders are clueless, brain dead, and need to be taken off life support. The political process has become a fashion parade where we judge the gown covering up a disgusting slob. People that say yes, yes, yes, and not one can make a case for our existence or theirs. What happened to the buck stops here? A Congress that talks about Iraqi parliamentary progress that hasn’t passed one piece of common sense, business-like, take responsibility legislation in 15 years. We have a Congress that is just as irresponsible as the borrowers in this so-called mortgage crisis. A Congress that never understood, and never will understand that you have to have a product that is affordable to produce that you can sell at a profit level and that your expenses cannot exceed your profit margin.
I have no problem with us being in war. As a matter of fact, I think we should be eliminating those who threaten our values and freedoms. Iraq has been for 100 years, the producer of funds to indoctrinate the vulnerable of mind, the bankroll for the subversive theories of equal outcome creating a world with no individual rights and no self-sustaining freedoms. As an America that is trying to shed the coat of discrimination, we should be concerned and pro-active to prevent a holocaust of human rights that will follow with a radical Muslim rule of people. We say we are a Christian nation set free by Christ, unhappy to be free, encumbering ourselves with nonsense, rules, regulations, and laws that nobody can afford, not even the richest country in the world. Our laws and rules have slowed us down to a point of no growth and no progress. The modern inventions and advantages of generations before us have been burdened and overloaded by bureaucracies that slowed us down to a snails pace. We can evacuate Houston faster on horseback than with our modern-day transportation, police, and government that has no concept of urgency, cost of time, and retardation of delay.
Nobody can take personal responsibility even if they want to. What happened to living within your means and the strongest survive and the fastest come first? What happened to competition that used to be the inspiration for betterment? We have no mortgage crisis. It looks more like a live above your means crisis. Poor idiots. They get foreclosed upon with two brand new foreign-made cars in their garage, a boat, a jet ski and three flat screen TV’s in the house, a riding lawn mower, a fantasy lifestyle, like we play fantasy football, NASCAR, and baseball. Everything is ‘I had a dream that I didn’t have to do anything’. Wake up. It is time to tax us on debt and not on profits. It is time to compensate people on profits and not by laws. And if you are Republican or Democrat, it is time to realize that we are all Americans created equally, with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But no right to succeed and no entitlement other than freedom. Wealth brings clean air, clean water, warmth, and protein, but only labor brings wealth. The policies of fear mongering are bankrupting us. Somebody needs to wake up and stick to our Christian belief of fear nothing but God and we’ll be strong again, successful, and happy.

Lack of Prosperity and Economic Understanding
It amazes me that so few people understand the basic rules of economic prosperity. 1) That we need to create an environment of competition, quality, and individual responsiblity. 2) Security is the bedding for properity, and secure investment can only be obtained by the removal of fear. Fear, whether it is personal or national, creates nonprofitable investment of protective measurements. The only way fear can be economically combatted, is with a strong military ready to hit hard wherever the threat comes from as long as the threat exists. 3) Entitlements have created an environment of expectation without delivery. Nobody, other than the truly handicapped or mentally retarded, are entitled to anything they didn't personally work for or create. A 40 hour work week is the seed of entitlement that is noxious and the breeding place of class envy. In contrast, class upgrade should be the goal of each individual person. 4) Taxes and levies are the damper of individual progress which smothers the spirit of capitalism.

Race and Gender in the Election
Obama and Hillary alleviate claims of non-acceptance and non-opportunity for minorities. It was very evident in one of Obama's speeches that he did not want to blame hispanics for blacks losing their jobs. After these democratic primaries and caucuses, it is more evident than ever before that America is still the country with opportunities for all if you want to take personal responsibility. Both minorities, Hillary and Obama, each gather as many votes as the Republicans combined in a country where for years the black caucuses wanted people to believe that minorities are discriminated upon.
It is amazing, if you act American, whether you are liberal or conservative, how accepted you are. I think more blacks will have to join the ranks of Bill Cosby in taking responsibility for their own destiny and not be looking for somebody to blame for their situation. Though welfare and governmental give-a-ways have smothered the drive and incentives to be independent and self-providing, the demand for labor by closing the borders and reforming the welfare system can change generations of dependents into opportunities for those that want it. If you believe opportunities have passed you by, you should seriously look at yourself and ask yourself why.

Race and Gender
Discrimination is alive and well. But only for those who act like victims with self pity, with attitudes out of order, and rebel against conformity. Acceptance, no matter of skin color, race, or gender come to those who are kind and diligent, hardworking with goals, and live within accepted social guidelines. You first have to respect yourself before you will get the respect of anyone else. Hate has destroyed more economic opportunities and endeavors than any natural causes.
Basic Rules of Economy
Only three things can gain reward: labor, investment, and intellectual capital. Where the opposite is true, the three things that penalize efforts are taxes, regulations, and mandates.
Romney: Businessman, Presidential Candidate, and the Economy
It is amazing to me that a self-made millionaire that supposedly understands business, understands markets, and understands the cap that government can put on expansion, would associate themselves that closely with the Buchanans' absolute isolationist philosophies. Their hate for everyone that doesn't agree 100% with them has overcome their rational thinking. America's strength is in it's diversity.
Mitt, rid yourself of those antiquated forces. The world is small, America is strong and exponentially the world will develop around us without us if we isolate ourselves.
